On May 30–31, a festival dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) took place in Kyiv’s Muromets Park under the symbolic title “And Even After 10 Centuries, the Muromets Outpost Still Stands.”
The event brought together military personnel, veteran organizations, recruitment centers, Ukrainian manufacturers, and visitors interested in gaining a closer understanding of the work of the modern Armed Forces.
U-FORCE participated in the Special Operations Forces festival as an exhibitor. The company’s solutions attracted significant interest and became one of the most visited locations, confirming strong demand for modern training technologies.
Today, drones are one of the key threats on the battlefield; therefore, training in countering unmanned aerial vehicles must be regular, practical, and safe.
One of the main exhibits was a VR simulator for a Mobile Air Defense Fire Team. It enables users to practice detection, tracking, and simulated engagement of aerial targets in a virtual environment, as well as to train actions that closely replicate real combat conditions. This format allows repeated practice of complex scenarios without risk, gradually improving skill levels.
The M.I.L.E.S. (Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System) kit was presented as a modern solution for tactical operations without the use of live ammunition. The system enables training across various scenarios, records results, and allows after-action analysis of mistakes following each session.
At the festival, laser training devices mounted on weapons were demonstrated, along with the UF soldier kit, training modules for mines and grenades, as well as an add-on module for FPV drones.
Special attention was given to the “Anti-Drone VR” system — a training simulator designed for practicing countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In a virtual environment, participants detect aerial targets, track them, and perform simulated engagement actions.
A key advantage of the system is its flexible scenario design, which can be modified, increased in complexity, and repeated an unlimited number of times.
The festival was not only a technology exhibition. It was an open space where military personnel, manufacturers, and civilians could interact directly. The presentation of the activities of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine (SOF) was complemented by interactive formats, including visits to tactical medicine zones and sports training areas. A separate part of the program featured combat buggies similar to those used on the front line — visitors had the opportunity to ride them in exchange for donations and support for Ukrainian defenders.
U-FORCE expresses its gratitude to the festival organizers for the invitation, the high level of organization, and the opportunity to present Ukrainian training technologies. The team also extends its appreciation to the Special Operations Forces for their service and contribution to the defense of Ukraine.
